Sommerzeit

This Kolsch is an American version of a traditional German beer.  Using 10% malted wheat, European hops, and the Laurelwood house yeast, we fermented this beer at a cooler temperature to give it a clean and crisp mouth feel.  This beer is light golden in color and has little bitterness, making it perfect for quenching your thirst in the summer heat.

Sun Woo Kong Imperial Monkey IPA

July 21, 2009 No comments yet

For those of you that didn't make it to our Northwest pub last night, we will be tapping our newest Imperial IPA tomorrow, Wednesday July 22 at 51st and Sandy Blvd. I had a couple of glasses of this beer last evening and I have to say, the smoothness of this beer belies its strength. The hops are there en force no doubt, but I'm quite pleased to say we've made a flavorful and drinkable Imperial IPA.

Hope to see you at the pub,

Chad

Wry Pale Tapped Wednesday at 51st

July 13, 2009 No comments yet

We'll be tapping into a tank of Wry Pale Ale at 51st on Wednesday. Wry has been a regular on tap at Pizza Co. for the last couple of years. It is, in my opinion, one of the nicest beers we brew. It's crisp and refreshing with a nice hop aroma which makes for a nice summer beer. Stop by and have a pint or pick up a bottle and let us know what you think.

Cheers,

Chad
