Prevale Ale
In collaboration with The Oregon Team in Training chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society our brewers created a benefit beer. We asked anyone with some inspiration and creativity to name the beer and after hundreds of entries Prevale was chosen as the winning name. 22-oz bottles of Prevale go on sale at all Laurelwood locations and wherever fine beer is sold in Portland and Southwest Washington on September 1st. A portion of the proceeds from every bottle will be donated to Cancer research.
Please help us Prevail in our battle agains cancer!
Challenger
Single Hop Red
Here’s the latest single hop beer- a red ale featuring just one variety of hops. This time we’ve turned to Challenger hops. Challengers are a UK pedigree variety, though we’ve used US grown here. They’re considered good hops for both bittering and aroma. They feature a citrusy character, though more reminiscent of English ales than the hop bombs we’re used to on the West Coast today.

OG 15
Tapped today at 51st.
Brewed with 100% organic malts from the Pacific Northwest and generous amounts of Ahtanum and Cascade hops. This is a crisp, clean ale with a dry, slightly hoppy finish. Very refreshing after a hard day at the lake….I mean a hard day at work.
