September 25th will mark the 9th annual Laurelfest celebration. We welcome you to come out an join us for our end of summer celebration with great food, the release of Laurelfest Lager and live music. Party starts at 3pm! See you there!

We are very excited to announce the Laurelwood Collaboration Brewers Dinner on September 9th 2010. Executive Chef Scott Clagett has paired eight great courses with beers from Upright Brewing, Walking Man, Everybody’s Brewing and of course Laurelwood Brewery Company. This great meal will be done tapas style and will be hosted at Laurelwood NW Public House. Bay Laurel Ale

One of the more unique beers we’ve created, this ale was made with 6 different malts including, barley, rye and wheat. We added 4 varieties of hops to this pale ale in addition to a dose of fresh Bay Laurel leaves in the fermenter and conditioning tank. The result is a balanced pale ale with the pleasing aroma of fresh bay leaves- quite distinct from the dried version.

OG 13 Plato    /    40 IBUs   /   5.7%  ABV

Last Wednesday we had a Luau and beer release that was the ending celebration for us of Oregon Craft Beer Month. Chef Scott fired up the coals for a pig roast, Brewmaster Chad Kennedy brewed a Hefeweizen for the occasion and we all adorned our grass skirts and lays. The crowd was is great spirits and the temp was just right for some great food and awesome beer!  July was a great month and we wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you who went out and enjoyed any and or all of Oregon Craft beers. It is because of your love of craft beer that keeps us going.  Thank you and we hope you all had a great time!
