The brewers can be found weekdays at the Hollywood brewery. They're always available to chat beer or for tours of the brewhouse.

Chad Kennedy - Head Brewer
Chad's first fermentation experiment was in cider. Let's just say you didn't miss much. Next came a whole slew of homebrews, a few thousand pages of beer reading, training as a beer judge, a few homebrew awards, several years distributing beer and then Laurelwood. Chad's been with us since January 2002. Since then he has been an integral part of Laurelwood's success- helping us win a slew of awards and brewing great beer. In May 2006 Chad was awarded the Glen Hay Falconer scholarship to attend the World Brewing Academy’s Concise Course in Brewing Technology at the Siebel Institute in Chicago. In June 2006, Chad became Laurelwood's Head Brewer.

Paul Bergeman - Brewer
Paul also came to Laurelwood from a distributor background. An avid homebrewer, Paul is the newest member of our brew staff and is eagerly learning the ways of Laurelwood beer. Paul moved to Portland from Colorado- where in college he found his true occupational calling- beer.
