New brew!   A note from Chad:

Okey Fanokey   (Oaked Bock)

You’ve probably had oak-aged beer before, but you ain’t never tasted nothing like this. Okey started out as your typical German-style bock, imported malt, imported yeast, lagered for nearly two months. Then we took part of that beer and aged it in used American oak barrels, previously used to age bourbon. We aged the rest on new Oregon-oak to create an undeniably-oakey beer.
6.45% ABV              12 IBUs           O.G. 16.5 º Plato

Hope everyone had a warm and happy holiday.  I drank half a growler of Himmelbrau Helles, ate a huge serving of my Christmas seafood feast, and promptly took a two hour nap.  Woke up, played some Mario Galaxy on Wii, and quickly fell asleep again.
