Richard (Head Chef)
I got started in the industry at 10 years when my father had a hamburger store and I worked there when I was a kid. After working for my father I decided that the food industry was what I wanted to do so as a senior in high school I started washing dishes at a hotel and have been in the industry ever since. I’ve been with Laurelwood since 2013 and I love it! My favorite part of my position is the creativity and being a part of an awesome staff.
Tiffany (General Manager)
My mother always worked in the restaurant industry when I was a kid. I knew I wanted to follow in her footsteps so I began working at a sandwich shop at the age of 13. This was the beginning of what would be my career in this wonderful industry. I’ve been with Laurelwood since 2016. Talking with our guests and cultivating relationships that make customers return is my favorite part of my position.
Thomas (Kitchen Manager)
I started working in the industry almost by accident. I was a fish cutter for a seafood company that had a wholesale and retail seafood market as well as a restaurant. One day they needed someone to fill in as a fry cook in the restaurant, so I stepped in. I immediately knew that the kitchen was where I belonged. I eventually switched over to the restaurant full-time. After that I worked in several other restaurants, working my way up to executive chef positions. My favorite part of the job is making people happy, and food is a wonderful tool for accomplishing that!
